• Optionally add an equatorial alignment mark on the two halves so the assembled relief seam is obviously continuous before the first twist.
• Should the standard build keep flat oceans, or map seafloor relief (like the `model-render-print` non-flat run)? Flat is the default today (decided 2026-08-27, see `documents/05-globe-box-approach.md`).
• Stand or base for the assembled globe? Not requested; the box is currently a free-standing sphere when the halves are locked.
