Assembled globe

The three globe-box pieces in their assembled pose: the northern half (dome up) and the southern half (rotated 180° about x so the dome points down), with their rims meeting at the equator (z = 0), and the twist-lock cylinder spanning the seam entirely inside (z = −12..+12). Twisting the two hemispheres in opposite directions locks both halves while the ring stays put, and the relief seam is aligned when locked. The rotation axis here is the Earth's polar axis (the poles lie on it, pointing up/down on screen). Drag to rotate, scroll to zoom; the faint wireframe sphere is the sea-level globe (R = 50 mm).
